Experience the family friendly country atmosphere of the Kirup Tavern and Caravan Park. Located in the historical hamlet of Kirup, surrounded by conservation forest, Kirup Tavern and Caravan Park offers visitors an opportunity to experience the natural landscape in the heart of the South West. The Tavern was established in 1905, and served the surrounding logging and fruit growing communities. It still has many of its original features including the buildings façade. The infamous Original and Kirupted styles of Kirup syrup can be purchased at the Tavern and are made to the original Italian growers wine recipe. Kirup Syrup Pies and Local made Kirup Sausages are also available
The Tavern kitchen and dining room are open Friday nights and over the weekends. We serve great country style meals at a good price, made from local produce where possible. Enjoy the ambiance of the dining room, or alternatively meals can be eaten in the renovated beer garden or at the bar. The Tavern also has a good selection of local Geographe and Blackwood regional wines to choose from. We also serve ‘fish n chips’, pizzas and ‘heat n eat’ packs to takeaway.
If you want to stay a while, the Kirup Caravan Park, being a small and friendly place makes for a relaxing stay. (Fifth wheelers can be accommodated). The Caravan Park offers a central location to park up and explore the surrounding natural forest areas, or just sit back relax and let the world slip by. The whole family is welcome including the dog. (NB: dogs must be kept on a leash at all times).
