Western Tourist Radio provides
listeners (both local and travellers) with information about
attractions and unique products and services available in the
South West of Western Australia, via a network of tourist
radio stations. Our programs highlight aspects of each
region, with information and humorous anecdotes on the
history, industry, attractions and talents of the people in
the region. See our Station Guide for information on where and how to receive our
programs. To find links sponsors and other interesting local
sites in the areas we operate click Here. In addition you will find links to a range of
useful traveller information from the Travellers Links Button.
Our Programs are presented by Jon Doust & Hovea Grant. Jon is a fifth generation Lower South
Wester, yarn spinner, comedian, ex apple grower and general
nuisance. Hovea, on the other hand, is a delightful young mum
who knows just what information visitors are looking for
about the local area.
Tourist Radio stations are
designed to have a range of 3 to 5 Km from the transmitter.
