Western Tourist Radio (WTR), at www.touristradio.com.au, provides a wealth of information about touring the south west of WA. Visit the WTR site for links to great south west tourism sites as well as a station guide for local radio stations that provide up to date information in Perth (the state capital) and south west towns.

WTR provides listeners (both local and travellers) with ideas about things to do, places to stay and services available in the south west of WA, via a network of radio stations. Our programs highlight aspects of each region, with advice and humorous anecdotes on the history, industry, attractions and talents of the people in the region.

The WTR radio stations are designed to have a range of 3 to 5 Km from the transmitter to your car radio. Look for the blue TOURIST RADIO road signs and tune to the FM channel shown. For best results, please follow these guidelines.

WTR operates stations in Perth City, Swan Valley, Bunbury, Busselton, Dunsborough, Cowaramup (near Margaret River) and Karridale (near Augusta) . In addition it holds licences in a number of other locations including  Albany, Armadale, Denmark, Fremantle, Kalgoorlie, Mt Barker, Mundaring as well as a number of sites on the Eyre Highway. Firey Productions produce the south west radio programs in Bunbury. These programs, presented by Hovea Grant and yarn spinner, comedian Jon Doust, are informative and entertaining. They run for approximately one hour and continually repeat.
