 Margaret River attractions
Apart from the wine and the surf, there is lots to see and do in the Margaret River as well as the neighbouring town's of Cowaramup, where a wide range of unique locally produced products are available from soaps, to organic wines, from sweets to gourmet foods and Augusta When Two Oceans Meet. The hinterland town's in the Karri Country at Pemberton and Northcliffe , Gateway to the D'Entrecasteaux National Park offer a range of different experiences.  A great place to visit is Eagles Heritage Raptor Wildlife Centre in Boodjidup Rd, you can listen to Phil Pain telling the story of Eagles Heritage on 87.6FM Cowaramup. As Phil says, having an eagle land on their arm is a life changing experience for some people. On the way back to town you can visit the Margaret River Drinks Company in Minchin Way and sample their their unique range of soft drinks produced right here in Margaret River.  You can visit Margaret River Hemp Company to buy all sorts of environmentally friendly products as well as learn about the conspiracy that has led the a ban on growing this crop in much of the Western World.

Arts Magaret River Arts Margaret River is a not-for-profit cultural community organisation.  We provide assistance to our many local artists and performers with an advocacy and advisory service. Our organisation aims to involve all members of the community in all forms of the arts. Our aim is achieved through a variety of programmes: music of all forms, theatre and dance performances, visual art exhibitions and events, Readers and Writers Festival events, various workshops, community celebrations including free outdoor concerts and activities, along with our volunteer run cinema.
Organic Food Trail You are invited to explore the very different gardens on the Organic Garden Trail.   Find out what we grow, how we grow it and why we grow it.
Our gardens are an interesting mix of Biodynamic, Organic and Permaculture styles that will indulge your senses and hopefully inspire you to experiment at home.
Most sites are linked to other concepts such as food, wine, well-being, education or community. They are suitable for people of any age.
Entry is free. Some also offer specialised guided tour by arrangement and for a reasonable charge. You can choose your own itinerary and decide to visit one, a few or a number of our gardens.
