 Western Tourist Radio Station Guide

Our  programs are being created based on interviews with local people, "telling the stories of people and places in Western Australia" you can also listen online, or download stories that interest you to listen  to while travelling by going to https://soundcloud.com/westerntouristradio and https://soundcloud.com/radiowa

Tourist Radio stations are designed to have a range of 5 to 10 Km from the transmitter. Look for the blue TOURIST RADIO road signs and tune to the FM channel shown. For best reception, please follow these guidelines, or listen On line.

  • Ensure that your car antenna is at maximum height.
  • We suggest that prior to your journey, you preset your car radio to our station frequencies.
  • Car radios fitted with scanning or roaming facilities will not always pick up the tourist radio frequency. It is sometimes necessary to manually tune to the specific frequency.
  • If you are staying in accommodation close to one of our transmitters, you might be able to listen in the comfort of your room. Let us help you plan your holiday activities.
