Housing an extensive collection of historic items, the cottage’s history stretches back as far as the 1800s.

Busselton Museum, The Butter Factory was opened in 1918.The State Government, through the Agricultural Department, owned it for some years as the Vasse Butter Factory.

Busselton Jetty, extending 1.84 kilometres over the protected waters of Geographe Bay, the heritage listed Jetty is the longest timber-piled jetty in the Southern Hemisphere and the second longest in the world.

This historic mining/timber town is situated 250km south of Perth and is located between Balingup and Bridgetown on the south west highway in the state's south-west. Greenbushes has a tantalising history and is well worth a visit.
